With over 25 years of hands-on experience in the IT industry, spanning across a wide range of enterprise-grade systems in retail, petrochemical, QSR, service desks and system integrations, Milan is the company founder and CEO with a deep a passion for technology, innovation, systems architecture and software development.
Andrew Roxburgh
Functional Development
Original author and software developer of South Africa’s leading service station software (WinBranch), Andrew is one of the leading industry experts in retail, petrochemical and QSR solutions and heads the functional domain evolution and development of the core systems and functions.
Japie Muller
General Manager
Japie is responsible for the management of and liaison with a variety of internal and external role players, including but not limited to operational support, processes, infrastructure, project management, and customer and supplier liaison.
Japie holds a Bachelor of Commerce in financial management, public administration, business management, and micro & macroeconomics and has over 20 years of hands-on experience in the fuelling and retail industry, previously heading the Engen Petroleum Retail IT Automation department.
Chris Wilson
Commercial Manager
Chris gained extensive commercial management experience over many years as the CEO of the RSC Insurance Group and as a risk management consultant for Trident Advantage, where he managed their key international corporate clients. He joined Flexinova at the start of 2020, assuming responsibility for commercial operations. Chris’s role includes the financial management of projects and the negotiation of contracts and tenders. Chris is also responsible for testing and aligning market requirements with organisational capability and implementing these through effective and efficient operational procedures.
Marco Daniels
Product Manager
Marco is the SME for the Flexinova range of products; responsible for heading the OEM technical support, QA and UAT, as well as ongoing partner training and certification processes.
Marco holds a BCom Honours Information Systems and BSc in Information Technology degrees and has been working with Flexinova since the company’s early inception, being fully exposed to all elements of the company’s products and services.
Gary Pond
Financial Manager
Gary is responsible for the financial health of an organisation by producing financial reports, directing investment activities, and developing strategies and plans for the long-term financial goals of the organisation.
Gary holds a diploma in law and taxation and is a member of the South African Institute of Tax Practitioners (SAIT) for over 10 years.
Zeljko Kostelac
Senior Software Engineer
Zeljko has a vast knowledge of modern software technologies and is responsible for the development of cloud-based systems in the Flexinova product portfolio. Zeljko has a great enthusiasm for software engineering and is skilled in all facets of software development lifecycles.
Zeljko holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology and is Flexinova’s core team member since the inception of Flexinova in 2014.
Pierre Roxburgh
AI Innovation
Pierre is an experienced software developer who has spent over three decades studying and researching the interconnections between natural cycles and financial data. This experience has enabled him to exploit the emergence of deep learning libraries such as PyTorch, TensorFlow and XGBoost to model complex non-linear financial systems and deliver accurate forecasting of time series phenomena across a variety of economic contexts. His current project at Flexinova involves modelling retail sales volumes in the petrochemical industry.
Brian Kanhanga
Senior Software Developer
Brian is an experienced software developer with a BSc in Computer Science and Mathematics who has worked on projects in Southern Africa, Eastern Africa and the UK. He gained a vast amount of development experience in a variety of market sectors such as Medical and Health Insurance, Mining, Banking, Fleet Management, the Department of Higher Education and Training and Banking. He is well-versed in Agile software development methodologies and has sound analytic and development skills.
